{{note|After seeing the category "Rocks fall, everyone dies", I wanted to make this. Sorry in advance.}}
It was a peaceful day. I had just driven home after a long day at work and my wife was in the living room, reading a book.
“Hello Honey! How was your day?” She said
“Ah, it was alright. One of my coworkers misread something and I had to fix it, but it ended up being less of a hassle than I thought. How about you?”
“Oh, I'm fine. Jimmy has a group project tomorrow. He's over at Frank's house now, but when he get's back, you should probably ask him to see it, He did a really good job.”
“Alright, I will. Thank you.”
“No problem. Oh, I think WWE is coming on. Let's watch it!”
I sat down beside my wife as she changed to channel. A match was about to start! It was between the Rock and this person called the Witch doctor. I had never heard of them before, but I haven't been following WWE as closely as most viewers. Something seemed off, though. The Rock looked really nervous. He seemed to be staring at a mark on the Witch doctor's chest, a 7-pointed star with a circle in the center. for a few seconds, he was looking at his tattoo and talking with whoever was nearby. Was it for show? Or was something wrong?
After the go-ahead, the two began their fight. It wasn't a close fight at all. The Witch Doctor, despite his scrawny appearance, easily overtook the Rock. And then something strange happened. With a single punch to the head, the Rock fell to the ground, a red spot on his forehead. And then the whole screen went dark, with only The Rock's unconscious self lying on nothing. Or was he unconscious?
I stared at the image for a few seconds, unable to comprehend what was going on, when a newscaster appearing.
“We have breaking news! A dark void has appeared and is growing in size. It is difficult to pinpoint the origin of this occurrence, but it isn't slowing down. We are awaiting further development. Until then plEqaf”
At that moment, the screen turned dark, and a loud voice bellowed through the speakers.
“DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE, BOY?”. I almost jumped out of my skin.
After that, the power in the house shut off, and I dug around for a flashlight.
“Honey?! Are you alright? Did you see that?”
No response.
I wandered the house, trying to find something that might help, when the radio came on.
“Please... help... stop the void... HE-”
And it turned to static.
Now I await my death. Through miscellaneous radio messages, television clips, and many news reports, I learned that it's only a matter of time before we are taken by the void. I spent hours hoping there was a way to stop it. But I'm afraid nothing can be done. I know this because of one truth.
You can't stop the Rock.
